Maite Capra Puertas has worked implementing the POETA Project and the Social Franchise POETA (FSP) for the past nine years. She has carried out multiple processes, and she is the author of several training documents. She co-created the contents of the Tool Box (Caja the herramientas) of the FSP.
As part of the field team of The Trust for the Americas, she is also responsible for the follow-up of various implementation processes in several countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Maite, a specialist in Education and Computer Education, with postgraduate studies in Democracy for Latin America, participates actively in multiple international events as a speaker, representing the TRUST and giving visibility to its work. For nearly 30 years, she has worked in social projects with vulnerable populations with and without disabilities. She lives in Costa Rica, and she is a university professor.
